Online Booking & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Casa Natura Galapagos Lodge. Our Booking & Cancellation policies that have been updated due to Covid-19 to allow for more flexibility in your future Galapagos adventure. Please read them carefully as they will apply to bookings made in our Lodge from May 12, 2020 onwards. By booking a reservation on our website or by email with one of our sales agents, you are agreeing to abide by our policies and procedures.

BOOKING POLICIES

ROOMS ONLY

100% of the amount of the room booking will be charged to confirm services. The payment can be used as future credit in the event that Ecuadorian or Galapagos borders close due to COVID-19 or the country of origin of the passenger has done the same. Same applies if mandatory quarantines in Ecuador or the Galapagos does not allow guests to fulfill their stay as planned.

PACKAGES ONLY

10% of the Galapagos package price will be required at time of booking. Balance must be paid 45 days before date of departure. The deposit and balance can be used as future credit in the event that Ecuadorian or Galapagos borders close due to COVID-19 or the country of origin of the passenger has done the same. Same applies if mandatory quarantines in Ecuador or the Galapagos does not allow guests to fulfill their package as planned.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

ROOMS ONLY

In case of a room-only cancellation 30 days or more before arrival, the payment will be refunded with no penalties.  In case of a room-only cancellation between 29-15 days before arrival, 50% amount will be charged. If a cancellation is done with 14-0 days prior to arrival, 100% of the booking amount including taxes will be charged. In the event your trip has been affected by COVID-19 border closures or quarantine requirements, your deposit and final payments can be used for future bookings up to 12 months from your check in date.

PACKAGES ONLY

In case of a Galapagos package program cancellation, if cancelled with more than 45 days before departure, no penalty is applied. Deposit previously received will be refunded. If the cancellation occurs 44-0 days before departure, 100% penalty of the total booking amount applies. In the event your trip has been affected by COVID-19 border closures or quarantine requirements, your deposit and final payments can be used for future bookings up to 12 months from your original trip departure.

CHECK-IN

Check-in time is any time after 14:00 PM (If you arrive earlier, we will be pleased to store your luggage until your room is ready). Guests will be required to present a valid form of identification and fill a registration form as required by local authorities. The hotel reserves the right to refuse service to any guests of the hotel who do not follow or comply with hotel policies.

CHECK-OUT

Check-out is at 09:00 AM. If you require a later check-out, please contact us before 09:00 am on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. A charge may apply, depending on availability.

PET POLICY

All pets are prohibited on property (a fine of $100 will be applied to the bill if a pet is discovered).

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is prohibited in all public areas of the hotel. All of our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed at designated “smoking” areas of the hotel. Please consult staff for the location these areas.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Guests must be 18 years or older to check in without a parent or legal guardian.

CHILDREN POLICY

Children under the age of 2 stay free in same room as parents or legal guardian.

PROMOTION POLICY

If you choose to take advantage of any promotions offered through the hotel, please follow all restrictions associated with each offer. Management reserves the right to change or cancel all promotions.

NO IN-ROOM PARTY POLICY

Casa Natura Galapagos Lodge enforces a NO IN-ROOM PARTY POLICY to ensure we can protect the hotel and our guests at all times. In the event of a disturbance one warning will be given to reduce noise. If this warning is not followed, the guest will be subject to fees and must leave the hotel immediately.
