El Garrapatero, a real Paradise!

On Santa Cruz Island there is a place that can’t be compared. El Garrapatero is a beautiful beach with crystal clear water, white sand and subtle waves that in combination with the Galapagos sky, provides a spectacular landscape. This paradise receives those who seek to spend a quiet day in contact with nature.

This beach stays warm most of the year, especially from January to May. In it we can appreciate unique species such as the Galápagos finches, black-necked ducks, flamingos and a lot more!

In addition to its extensive beach of more than 1500 meters, El Garrapatero has a natural lagoon, home of flamingos and ducks. We can also find an amazing forest with manzanillo and eucalyptus trees.

If you think that visiting El Garrapatero it’s mandatory on your trip to the Galapagos, Casa Natura Galápagos Lodge is an excellent option for you! Our hotel is only 10 minutes from this beach and very close to other incredible places. You can write to ecolodge@casanaturahotel.com and we will gladly help you plan your trip!
